Ive been eating Salernos pizza since i was a kid in Berwyn. Its the best pizza ever. I live in Sacramento, CA now and there is no good pizza anywhere in California. I wish Salernos could open a pizza parlor here in Sacramento. It would be a gold mine here. Or if not i wish i could order some pizzas online and have them delivered to me out here.Salernos is the best pizza hands down. I cant wait for my next trip to Chicago so i can have another Salernos pizza.

The chicken parmesan is a go-to favorite. The chicken and pasta portions are huge, the breading is flavorful and the marinara sauce is perfectly balanced. If someone asked me to describe chicken parm, this is the dish I would describe.

Started at Salerno's in Berwyn & have loved them & other Salerno's over the years. Now I have to be gluten-free and Salerno's in Mt. Prospect has come to my aid. I order heaps of sausage, mushrooms & roasted red peppers well suppported by a delicious gluten-free crust. Makes frozen pizzas look malnourished!
